HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR CAULAINCOURT SNEAKERS ?

You do not have the possibility to come to try, touch and see in store but would like to order Caulaincourt sneakers?

In order to make your choice easier, we have created this page to help you if you wish to order our sneakers online.

Before you begin, we strongly encourage you to check out the page “Size Guide”.
This is an automatic shoe size converter that greatly reduces the risk of error when choosing a shoe size.

A shoe is a fit, and an aesthetic bias.
The two aspects are strongly influenced by the choice of the “last” (shoe shape) used for a particular shoe.

We therefore offer you a guide of the Caulaincourt’s lasts which will allow you to understand more clearly:

NB // On the website you can filter our models by last (filter located on the left of your screen).

OUR LASTS :

TOKYO last

– Fit: a “tennis” shape type that is extremely “fitting”, that is to say tolerant of the various physiognomies of the human foot. It was designed for this: it is a sneakers and the optimization of comfort is fundamental.

– Aesthetic: it has the roundness of a “tennis” shape without being too round and heavy, nor too fine and precious. The perfect balance (in our opinion).

– Size tip: a 41 fits a real 41.5 / 42 (or an US 8,5 / 9)

– Fit tip: you can also play with the fit by removing or adding volume; you just need to:

o Remove the (removable) original insole and replace it with a thinner sole (or even without replacing it at all) if you feel a little cramped. Example: when getting on an airplane, you can do this by anticipating the swelling of the foot.

o Insert a thin insole under the original insole if you want to feel your foot more supported.

o Remove the original insole to replace it with an orthopedic insole if you must wear one.

AVENTADOR last

– Fit: a “running” shape with exceptional comfort. The risk with this shape is extremely low, regardless of your foot shape.

– Aesthetics: a very current “running” type shape, with a relatively wide front.

– Size tip: a 41 fits a real 41.5 / 42 (or an US 8,5 / 9)

RACKHAM shape

– Fit: a very “fittin” shape as well, however not recommended for people with a very strong instep.

– Aesthetics: a simple and effective “running” type shape, with a relatively thin front.

– Size tip: a 41 fits a real 41.5 / 42 (or an US 8,5 / 9)

All our sneakers are manufactured with natural materials (except the rubber of the sole), which will produce a fundamental difference for you who wear them: you will never feel the “heat” effect – and the physical fatigue that results from it – that you can live with “classic” sneakers (Nike, NB, etc.) which contain 90% synthetic materials.
