Petrossian and Caulaincourt have created a retrofuturistic sneaker that’s as bold as it is precious, born from the alliance between the flamboyant aesthetic of the 1980s and responsible luxury craftsmanship.

Petrossian, a leading name in gourmet luxury, and Caulaincourt, a house passionate about French shoes, combine their expertise in a visionary collaboration that panaches innovation and refinement.

Conceived as a manifesto, the CP One merges ’80s aesthetics with a distinctly French art of living and impertinence.

Made in Italy, the CP One showcases rare materials, including salmon leather (made from salmon skins smoked by Petrossian) tanned in an innovative and responsible approach. Each pair features bold colors, distinct lines, and exceptional finishes, true to our vision of the shoe as an object of expression.

Caulaincourt reinterprets salmon skins from Petrossian’s production into a noble material that is as surprising as it is precious. Unlike shagreen, the only marine leather truly known in the world of fashion, salmon leather is extremely rare. Its production requires cutting-edge craftsmanship, mastered by very few tanneries in the world.

Thanks to a meticulous transformation process, the fragile salmon skin becomes an exceptional leather, at once supple, durable, and aesthetically pleasing. Ictyos, an innovative company specializing in fish skin tanning, brings its technical expertise to the forefront of this rare material and achieves an unrivaled level of quality. Vegetable tanned in France, their process produces leather that is completely odorless and, the cherry on top, hypoallergenic, as well as beautiful—a craftsmanship feat as much as an aesthetic statement.

Between artisanal heritage and a visionary approach, the CP One sneaker symbolically illustrates the shared high standards of both companies.
